The Anchor construction management team has reached a major milestone on the Coastal Heights Tower project: the final structural floor of the 9-storey office building has been completed, marking the official top-out of the structure.
Located in the heart of Mogadishu, the tower has been under construction for the past 14 months. Anchor has provided full construction management on the project — coordinating contractors, tracking budget and schedule, and supervising every concrete pour from foundation to roof.
What happens next
With the structural frame complete, the project now moves into its finishing phase. Over the coming months, the team will focus on:
- Mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) installation
- Facade and glazing works
- Interior fit-out and finishes
- Final quality inspection and handover preparation
"Reaching top-out on schedule, in a build of this size, comes down to discipline on site every single week — not just good drawings on paper."
The project remains on track for handover in the first quarter of 2027. Anchor will share further updates as the finishing works progress.
